Step 3: Develop a School Behavior Chart
Once you have agreed on a set of items for the program, your next step is to develop a simple chart for the teacher to use, just as you did at home but covering fewer days of the week. A sample school chart appears here:

A small, sturdy index card works well for this. Since you’ll need a new chart each week, you might want to draw one up without the items, copy it, and then fill in copies as you need them. While some enthusiastic teachers offer to make the charts, it is best to gently decline the offer and make the chart yourself so that you don’t lose any momentum in implementing the program.
